Our Canadian Friends
Allow us to convey to you a sincere and heartfelt greeting on behalf of the
Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba and on my own.
We
want to let you know that we will never forget the enthusiasm,
appreciation and friendship expressed in your visits to Cuba and the hospitality extended on my
visit to Canada
in 2003 on the occasion of the Toronto International Boat Show. We are
pleased and honoured at having friends like these and will continue
feeding these good relations and working for the development of the
recreational boating industry.
Our
Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba was founded on May 21,
1992, a civil non-governmental and non profit society.
As
the only yacht club in Cuba,
we have worked diligently and with passion toward the establishment of
fruitful and sincere collaboration with the international boating
community. Thanks to this work we, at present, keep friendly links with
more than 500 boating clubs, institutions and associations.
Wishing
to continue widening these wonderful links, our Yacht Club will be happy
and proud if you will allow me to be your representative, to facilitate
and/or make easy a safe crossing and sailing amongst the thousand islands
and keys of the Cuban archipelago. To fulfill that mission we are at your
total disposal in giving assistance, help and support in contributing to
the realization of your dreams.

would be a pleasure for us to assist with information about Cuban
marinas, anchorages, boatyards, and harbours, places and events of
interest as well as to coordinate the crossing with corresponding Cuban
